Bound by the springs

Cushions held secrets tight

Caught by the light

 

Sitting in circles that

Can’t say a survivor’s name

Knew of reasoning while the dark

Welcomed the night

 

 

Lit up by change

Idle beings sit knowing

It will never be alright

Whether the light is seen

Or to remain as a ghost

To know the dark

Has left its mark

Is all that is left
